Starting with an amazing SEL session on the topic 'giving' by Ms Latha, where a book was read aloud and students were divided into groups of 3 where each group was given a question and the group was supposed to come up with different perspectives and their own thoughts into it.
Walking through the Library doors with Ms Veena students enjoyed some peaceful story reading of the book; The Lost Found.
Further came the fun fact in Homeroom lessons, where students solved problems of division using manipulatives like counters, popsicle sticks, and blocks.
First exciting factor of the week was Fund Raising day hosted by grade 5, which opened up a space of gaming zone, cookie counters, and lots of other handmade products.
Off-late their favorite space in the lessons is author study, in which, we read Eric Carle's- Draw me a star, which prompted them to draw their own style of a star.
Best of all was this week's field trip!!
The whole grade 1 was divided into 3 groups where we were walking the doors into the milk pasteurization and packaging and also into the making of ice creams, curd, and yogurt.
Students also had the opportunity to taste the French yogurt and ice creams of different flavours. We also received goodies from Heritage Foods.
