We always start with updating what happened first, let's try being different!!! We will begin with the happenings of how we ended the day today. During check-in, students practised the addition concept using the different strategies and tools introduced earlier. They also played a Maths game on the toy theatre website.
The problems solved by the students were inspired by our Singapore Maths books.
Students were introduced to one of the six traits of writing- 'Convention'. The Acronym used for the same is called M.I.N.T.S. They learned about capitalization and discussed examples. The students also wrote the example words/ sentences in their books.

Students identified the changes between how things and places looked similar and different from past to present. We used a Venn Diagram to present our understanding and express ourselves. Students were guided to write/ draw in their books.
Students also watched this book titled- 'Then and Now' by Tracy Sato. This also helped them to find out the changes.
Some of the pictures were displayed to the students in the form of a presentation to observe the similarities and differences. Pictures of our country's map, Mumbai's Marine Drive, and our city- Hyderabad's pictures were used for the presentation.
Our morning meeting was an interesting start to the day as we performed some Yoga poses as a part of mindfulness. The video titled- Fly like a butterfly was used for the same.
It was fascinating to see all students participating actively in all sessions. :)
