Our first lesson started with the reading session in groups today. Students read aloud the books with their group members.
After the break, students practised mindfulness with the help of a video.
Thereafter, students brainstormed on what 'Environment' means to them. Then, the students were divided into two groups to discuss the picture prompts.
In Maths, we continued with learning the concept of time.
Students were guided to read and demonstrate the time on analogue clocks.
One of the two groups designed some questions to ask each other and peer learning was encouraged.
A real clock was used to demonstrate the time on the analogue clock. Students are also requested to create a paper/ cardboard clock to understand and apply the concept of time.
In the last lesson, we continued to discuss the picture prompts and the teacher recorded their responses. The cause and effect of the different issues in the environment were beautifully expressed by the students.

Thoughtful and thought-provoking responses of the students have certainly taken the inquiry a step ahead!
