Our Friday mornings begin with the student council meeting conducted by our class representative- Swara. She discussed about children's day celebration with her friends and asked their ideas for the same. Some of the students shared their views which were noted by her.
The students then got ready for the field trip to the 'Aga Khan Museum', in Toronto, Canada.
We all went together for a virtual field trip to one of the galleries of the museum called 'The Moon'.
Students used the below template to reflect on the field trip observations. The students drew and wrote their reflection. They were also guided to complete this task by the end of today and share a picture with the teachers.
We also observed astrolabes from different countries- Spain, India, Iran, and Pakistan. Students were encouraged to research what does astrolabes and astronomers mean?
During the check-in, the second group got to play the addition puzzle today. Some of the students also challenged themselves by choosing 4 digit numbers and above.
The students were wished a very happy weekend ahead! :)
