Students worked in two groups to understand and practice the concept of the place value of numbers. They challenged themselves through this online game to identify and understand the concept. Peer learning was also encouraged during this session.
Students are enjoying the morning messages and we have an increasing number of volunteers who are willing to initiate reading and participating actively.
For UOI, we are inquiring into our second line of inquiry- Making and maintaining relationships. Students discussed what trust means to them and created a 'Trust Circle'. They illustrated in their books and made figurines of all the members in their trust circles. Every individual is different and so will be their trust circles with different people they trust. One of the examples was shared with students on the whiteboard for them to understand it in a better way.
Some of the examples of trust circles are shared by the students.
It was fascinating to listen to their responses when the teacher why they trust these people. It was also lovely to see them interested to create the figurines and use the playdough/ clay and enjoying the learning engagement.
