Students watched a video about safe and unsafe touch. This aligns with our unit on 'Who we are' as individuals and how we can differentiate between the characteristics of people. It is to make young ones aware of these situations so they can approach their adults in need.
They reflected on the video using the KWLS chart in the class.
Students listened to the book called 'I am Human' by Susan Verde and Peter H Reynolds. This is connected with our third line of inquiry- 'What it means to be human'. To reflect on what makes us human, students created sketchnotes about themselves. Ms. Anjum shared an example using miro.com/app. Some of the students also asked for the link to the book. Students had to observe a picture and write their opinions about it or create a story around it.
Ms. Latha joined us during this session and the students completed their writing task in breakout rooms. We would like to thank all the parents who supported us and helped our students to upload the pictures on Seesaw.
