In Maths, we started with the concept of number bonds. The concept was practised through play-based learning. We used the spin wheel to display numbers and the toy theatre website to create the number bonds. We also used resources from our Maths No Problem books to understand and recapitulate the concept.
We had our student-led session today where we learned numbers from 1 to 10 in two languages- Romanian and Portuguese. Some of the students led games and puzzles and shared lego constructions too.
We brainstormed on the unit end celebration with our students. Some of them could give us great ideas for what and how they can present their understanding and learning.
During the check-in our focus this week is to practise the Mathematical concepts.
