Our first lesson started with a reading session this morning. Students read aloud different books with specialists in their respective groups.
During the UOI lessons, students inquired more about the habitats and animal adaptation. They also made connections with the similarities and differences between the living and lifestyle of human beings and other living beings.
Through Dr. Binocs video, students learnt about three kinds of adaptation- behavioural, structural, and physiological.
Students were also introduced to the 'Nature Detective' activity assigned to everyone on Seesaw. All the students are expected to complete the task by the end of the weekend, which is Sunday the 30th of January.
Group 1 students attended the check-in session today where they further inquired into the starting and ending time on the clocks. They also learned comparison of time using picture prompts and story problems.
The tools used to understand the concepts today were interactive clock from toy theatre and number line.
It was interesting to witness their enthusiasm to predict and guess the times. They also suggested to draw the hands on the clocks while responding to the questions.
