Students reflected on yesterday's learning and watched a video on 'Acts of kindness'. They observed the different acts and described them.
The students were then guided to create an 'Action Journal' using re-use papers. They designed their cover page today and recorded their first action. The students will record their daily acts of kindness in this journal.
Students looked at the song of 'Tally Marks'. This will help them to retain the concept.
They were also guided to write the song or take a screenshot for their reference.
We also discussed how to take a screenshot using a keyboard.
Then, we continued with reading and interpreting the pictographs with a variant. At first, the dot represented one animal in the collected data and the next time one dot represented two animals.
The data representation was done by using the tally marks.
The students were guided to make a note in their Maths books.
Then, the students answered some questions and picture prompts related to the collected data.
Finally, we had the student-led session in our last lesson.
Our students in Crew One are super talented. Also, it was announced again today that they can use the morning meeting time to display their talents. They can either record their videos and send them to the teachers beforehand or let them know in advance if it is a live performance.
