End of Week-28

Students love to share about their passions and they take pride in leading the sessions.
Students reflected on the unit using the 'Visible Thinking Routine'- PMI- Plus, Minus, Interesting. They mentioned the different learning engagements that they enjoyed while inquiring into the unit. They also expressed the ones they did not enjoy much and the ones that interest them a lot.
To encourage critical and creative thinking, students were guided to create a summer bucket list to come up with solutions to the growing and scorching heat of this summer.
Students play during the break and lunch time.
Celebrating local festivals through drawing and colouring during their language lessons.
Mindfulness led by Ms. Meena during language lesson.
During Maths lessons, students practised and solved number and story problems based on the concept of multiplication.
Like every Thursday morning, we had Ms. Sue and Ms. Faridah for our guided reading sessions.
Students learned blends and diagraphs in a couple of groups, the others illustrated their favourite scenes and characters from the books they read aloud with the teachers.
These guided reading books were issued to the students to read with their parents at home. The books are expected to be back in school on Monday.
Students also enjoyed being a part of the audience for the PYP Exhibition hosted by Grade 5 students and teachers. The presentation included the creative expression of different groups that were displayed before the students of Grades 1 to 4.
